And low the angel of the
Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shown round about
them, and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto
them, fear not, for behold I bring you good tidings of great joy,
which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day,
in the city of David a savior which is Christ the Lord. (Luke
2:9-10)
Hello dear readers, thank
you for stopping by this particular post. Pause just a moment
now if you will, and reflect on these words that you have just read.
For they come from the holy Bible, the word of God, the living
Word that He has left us that we might know Him and have a
foundation. A foundation within of peace, joy, life
everlasting when life on earth shall end. O how I love reading
the above words and knowing they are true. I was not there
when Christ was born on earth, I did not see the angel, nor the
glory that shown around the shepherds as they watched over their
flocks by night. Yet I like to treasure these words just the
same and their value I hold in my heart so tight. For again
they are true. For these dear words that were written so many
years ago declare that the good tidings of joy shall be to all
people! That means you and I!! O thanks be to God, that
He was born not only for them but for us as it is written His joy
shall be to all people. Thus may we believe and receive, for
Our Lord will not turn us away. He is there aching to abide in
our hearts, that He might light up the way. That we might have
peace, contentment and direction for our life, and that he might
melt any hardness of hearts, any bitterness or strife.
O how I love these
thoughts. Why, because they are true for me, and if you will
only believe, they are also true for you. O how deep the
fathers love for you and I, to think that He was born in such a
lowly way to save us from sin, that we may see Him by and by. Well,
may we all ponder these words my dear friends and again thanks for stopping
